Every price on the Hims and Hers weight-loss pages is for the medication only, at its lowest dose, and an active Weight Loss Membership is required to buy any of it: $39 for the first month, then $149 a month, billed separately. The realistic cheapest all-in cost is therefore about $298 a month, and there is no prepaid multi-month membership tier that lowers it. Hims does not sell compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide: no compounded product appears anywhere on its weight-loss pages, its membership page, its weight-loss FAQ or its terms, as read on 2026-09-16. The medication charge is HSA/FSA-eligible by reimbursement; the membership fee is not.

Is Hims & Hers legit?

Hims & Hers Health, Inc. is a publicly traded telehealth platform (NYSE: HIMS) founded in 2017, with the consumer-facing entity named as Hims, Inc. Care is delivered by affiliated professional entities — the You Health medical groups, one per state — and Hims says a state-licensed provider reviews every intake before anything is prescribed. It is BBB-accredited (since 2018) but currently unrated there, and its BBB profile carries a pending-government-action notice for the FTC lawsuit filed in July 2026. It sells FDA-approved medication only.

Refunds & cancellation

Cancel the medication plan at least two days before the next billing date to stop the charge, and note that renewals can process up to two days early. Cancelling the Weight Loss Membership also cancels any active medication plan and your access to care; cancelling only the medication plan leaves the membership running.
Refunds:
The first month's membership fee is non-refundable, and refunds for a partly used membership or medication period are discretionary. A medication refund is available only if an initial order is cancelled within 48 hours of submitting payment details, or a renewal is cancelled at least two days before the next billing date. Nothing is refunded once medication has shipped.

Is Hims & Hers legit?
